Disneyland holds a special place in our hearts. While all Disney Parks have there own special qualities Disneyland is our favorite. Why? Well nostalgia of course. It's the original and hence has a certain vibe unto itself. There are elements that are a bit "kitchy" but that is part of it's charm. There are many really fun things to do and experience but the size is not overwhelming. Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure are very walkable, which is wonderful especially when you are travelling with young kids or if you have mobility issues. You can stay at beautiful Disneyland Resort Hotels or at any number of good neighbor hotels that are within easy reach of the Park. Nothing against Florida but California weather is better. Duh.
Interested in Walt Disney World and never been? It is a COMPLETELY different animal than Disneyland and we can help you navigate it as well. Including the weather.
Sometimes when life goes a bit off the rails, we look for a source of light and joy. For some, that's Disneyland. Yes, it's more crowded, yes, it takes a little more effort and commitment now, but Disney lovers will find that, "I'm just happy to be there mindset." Smelling the magic, hearing the music and seeing Mickey is a solid formula for a happy day.
Are you looking for information about the Disney Resorts, attractions, dining, tours, and special events? Don't worry. You've come to the right place. Ruth is a Disney fanatic. Yep she loves Disney and knows how to have a magical time at Disney. As a lifelong Californian her specialty is Disneyland. Unfortunately it's a sad fact that many people don't enjoy their Disney Vacation. Wah, wah, wah. Having a truly magical time on a Disney vacation is possible and it involves a pretty deep knowledge of the park and a LOT of planning. Winging it at the last minute is likely to result in a less than happy experience. Making sure our clients have a great time and get the most out of their budget and time is always our goal!
Yep, that's Ruth and Carol in the 1970s standing in front of some really cool topiaries (a personal favorite of Carol's) at the Best Western Stovalls Inn on a Disneyland trip. I'm pretty sure pishy poshy hotels weren't a thing back then in the illustrious city of Anaheim, CA. Back in those days, you showed up anytime you wanted and had a great time. No California Adventure, no Park Hoppers, no Genie + and the Matterhorn was the bomb! OMG I remember when Space Mountain opened and what a big deal that was. We probably had to stand in line for 15 minutes or something to ride it. Times change, things evolve and Disneyland is still as fun as ever, although it does require epic planning skills these days. Carol says boo hoo, but Ruth has got you covered. I guess it has something to do with our socks.
